Le Conseil International du Design (ico-D) a été créé à Londres le 27 avril 1963, avec pour missions (entre autres) d'être une voix internationale non partisane et non gouvernementale pour promouvoir le design, de représenter les intérêts des concepteurs professionnels de manière responsable, de définir et sensibiliser davantage aux normes professionnelles et meilleures pratiques ou soutenir le développement de l'éducation au design (pratique, théorie et recherche).

Melanoma Prevention Campaign - Special postmark from Prague / Campagne de prévention contre le mélanome - TAD spécial de Prague

La poste tchèque était à nouveau partenaire cette année d'une campagne nationale (11ème édition) de prévention contre le mélanome et les autres formes de cancers de la peau.
Cette évènement a eu lieu les 18 et 19 avril 2017 à Prague, le 24 avril 2017 à Brno et le 25 avril 2017 à Ostrava.

The Czech Post was again a partner this year of a national campaign (11th edition) to prevent melanoma and other forms of skin cancer.
This event took place on 18 and 19 April 2017 in Prague, on 24 April 2017 in Brno and on 25 April 2017 in Ostrava.

Palmarès Grands Prix de l'Art Philatélie 2016 / Palmáre Velké ceny za umělecké ztvárnění poštovních známek za rok 2016

1. místo Grand prix Belgie a Evropy v umění a filatelii "Ambassador": "Nový Zwin" (Kris Maes, André Buzin a Marijke Meersman)

V rámci soutěže "Grands Prix de l'Art Phillatelique Belge et Européen" vybrala porota, složená z 25 odborníků z filatelistického a uměleckého světa, nejkrásnější poštovní známky v celkové kategorii "Ambassador" a na téma "Známky s ocelorytinou Evropské unie" a za nejkrásnější "Známky pro mládež a děti". Letos již po třicáté. Této soutěže se zúčastnilo 24 zemí Evropské unie!

2. místo Grand prix Belgie a Evropy v umění a filatelii "Ambassador"Gand (Myriam Voz)

1. místo v kategorii Známky s ocelorytinou

"Now the Czech Republic is again among the winners, in the category ENGRAVED STAMPS, with a SECOND PLACE (after Spain), with the stamp devoted to Jan Jessenius.

As it is a joint issue, of course Poland, Hungary and Slovakia will also receive an award. As the engraver, F. Horniak has the Slovak nationality, the main award will go to Slovakia, but there will be also an award for the three other countries".

Comme de coutume lorsqu'un athlète tchèque devient champion du monde, la poste tchèque à mis en circulation, le 14 avril 2017, une nouvelle flamme spéciale consacrée cette fois à Ester Ledecká (née en 1995), championne du monde en snowboard dans l'épreuve de slalom géant parallèle lors des championnats du monde de ski acrobatique et snowboard, organisés du 7 au 19 mars 2017 en Sierra Nevada (Espagne).

As usual when a Czech athlete becomes world champion, the Czech Post has released a new special slogan cancellation on April 14, 2017, dedicated this time to Ester Ledecká (born in 1995), world champion in snowboarding in the Parallel giant slalom event at the FIS Freestyle Ski and Snowboarding World Championships, held from 7 to 19 March 2017 in Sierra Nevada, Spain.

V prostorách bývalé prodejny filatelie v prvním patře budovy Hlavní pošty Praha 1 (ochoz nad dvoranou) se ve středu 3. 5. 2017 uskutečnila 86. výstavka odboru známkové tvorby České pošty, s.p. Prohlédli jste si výtvarné návrhy, rytecké rozkresby a podklady pro tisk vydaných poštovních známek, FDC a razítek na FDC, které vyšly 3. 5. 2017. Autorem fotografií je Ing. Most beautiful Czech stamp issued in 2016 - Special postmark / Plus beau timbre-poste tchèque de l'année 2016 - TAD spécial

Comme les années précédentes, la poste tchèque a mis en circulation à Prague (bureau principal n°1) le 20 avril 2017, une oblitération spéciale (conçue par Karel Dvořák) incluant la mention "Nejkrásnější česká poštovní známka roku 2016" ("Plus beau timbre-poste tchèque de l'année 2016").
Ce TAD fait bien sûr référence à l'enquête annuelle de la poste tchèque permettant d'élire le plus beau timbre émis en 2016.
Un grand merci Slavek pour ce pli oblitéré avec ce TAD spécial représentant un cavalier jouant du cor (postal).
J'ai déjà évoqué sur ce blog les résultats de cette enquête 2016, remportée par le timbre (émis le 4 mai 2016) consacré au 700ème anniversaire de la naissance de Charles IV (1316-1378), roi de Bohême et empereur du Saint-Empire romain-germanique.
Slavek a utilisé 2 timbres identiques (16 CZK, conception : Adolf Absolon) consacrés à la zone paysagère de Železné hory (créée en 1991), mis en circulation le 12 octobre 2016 et représentant, à gauche, la ruine du château de Lichnice (13ème siècle) ainsi que le ravin sauvage de Lovětínská et ses couches de gneiss Protérozoïque.

As it was the case in previous years, the Czech Post has put into circulation in Prague (main post office No. 1) on April 20, 2017, a special cancellation (designed by Karel Dvořák) including the words "Nejkrásnější česká poštovní známka roku 2016" ("Most beautiful Czech stamp of the year 2016").
This cancellation is of course referring to the annual survey of the Czech Post to elect the most beautiful stamp issued in 2016.
A big thank you Slavek for this cover canceled with this special postmark featuring a horseman playing (postal) horn. 
I have already mentioned on this blog the results of this 2016 survey, won by the stamp (issued on May 4, 2016) dedicated to the 700th anniversary of the birth of Charles IV (1316-1378), King of Bohemia and Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire.
Slavek used two identical stamps (16 CZK, design : Adolf Absolon) dedicated to the Železné hory Protected Landscape Area (created in 1991), put into circulation on October 12, 2016 and featuring on the left, the ruins of Lichnice castle (13th century) as well as the wild Lovětínská ravine with exposed layers of Proterozoic gneiss.
