Stamps of the "Great Musicians" set on FDCs from Kyrgyzstan (KEP) / Timbres de la série "Grands musiciens" sur FDCs du Kirghizstan (KEP) / Série "Velcí muzikanti" s Antonínem Dvořákem

Le 8 septembre 2016, la Kyrgyz Express Post (KEP), le 2ème opérateur postal désigné (l'autre étant la poste kirghize) du Kirghizstan, a mis en circulation une très jolie série (4 timbres) consacrée à de grands musiciens et compositeurs ayant marqué le 18ème, 19ème et 20ème siècle : Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (225ème anniversaire de sa mort), Antonín Dvořák (175ème anniversaire de sa naissance), Serge Prokofiev (125ème anniversaire de sa naissance) et Yehudi Menuhin (100ème anniversaire de sa naissance).
Ces 4 timbres (tirage : 8000 chacun), conçus par Vladimir Melnic et imprimés en Moldavie par Nova Imprim, ont été émis chacun en feuillet composé de 4 timbres + 2 vignettes centrales illustrant des lieux emblématiques où leurs plus grandes oeuvres respectives ont été interprétées : opéra d'état de Vienne (Mozart), opéra d'état de Prague (Dvořák), théâtre Mariinsky (Prokofiev) et Carnegie Hall (Menuhin)... http://timbredujura.blogspot.com/2016/10/stamps-of-great-musicians-set-on-fdcs.html

On September 8, 2016, the Kyrgyz Express Post (KEP), the second designated postal operator (the other one being the Kyrgyz Post) of Kyrgyzstan, has released a beautiful series (4 stamps) dedicated to great musicians and composers having marked the 18th, 19th and 20th century : Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (225th anniversary of his death), Antonín Dvořák (175th anniversary of his birth), Sergei Prokofiev (125th anniversary of his birth) and Yehudi Menuhin (100th anniversary of his birth).
