In a message published on May 25, 2015, I spoke about the special postmark issued on May 1, 2015 at the occasion of the beginning of the 150th season of the Prague Steamboat Company ("150. sezóna Pražské paroplavební společnosti").
As a reminder, today, two steamboats ("Vyšehrad" and "Vltava") allow tourists to make in one day a round trip on the Vltava river between Prague and the dam of Slapy (30 km south of Prague), passing through beautiful landscapes and the towns of Měchenice, Davle and Štěchovice.
On June 16, 2015, a new postmark (design : Miloslav Bláha) on the same topic was put into circulation in a temporary post office located in the National Technical Museum ("Národní technické muzeum") located in Prague 7.
It is that cancellation, including the logo of the Prague Steamboat Company "PPS" ("Pražská Paroplavební Společnost"), which was applied on the special card above.
The stamp (25 CZK) issued on June 11, 2014, was part of a series of two stamps devoted to historical means of transport, the passenger paddle steamboat Franz Joseph I here.
As a reminder, this boat, with a full capacity of 800 passengers, belonged also to the Prague Steamboat Company and travelled in particular on the Prague-Zbraslav-Štěchovice crowded line from 1880... http://timbredujura.blogspot.com/2015/08/czech-republic-new-prague-steamboat.html
