Issue of the definitive literal postage stamp „A“ with labels for additional printings DUŠAN KÁLLAY

On the 4th March, 2015 the Ministry of  Industry and Trade  of the Czech Republic will issue the  definitive postage stamp with labels for additional printings and with  imprinted letter „A“. The letter „A“ corresponds to the price of an ordinary domestic letter – standard to 50 g in accordance with the Price list of basic postal services in the current version – at present amounting to CZK 13.
The stamp depicts  Charles Bridge and postal dwarves.
The stamp will be issued in arranged printing sheet with 9 stamps and 12 labels. The 9 main labels published on the date of issue  portray a scale with a parcel containing goslings and postal dwarves. The side labels in the right-hand section of the arranged printing sheet contain the following motifs: a dwarf with young animals in the upper one; dwarves on a handstamp in the middle one; and a dwarf in a postal bag in the lower one. Five other pictures of dwarves are located in the margins of the printing sheet. A part of the sheets will be issued with blank labels for additional printings in accordance with the wish of the customer.
The author of the design of the issue is Prof. Dušan Kállay.
The  stamp, sized 23 x 30 mm, with  the label of the same size has been printed  by the Post Printing House in Prague by multicoloured offset.
There will be 1 First Day Cover incl. commemorative cancellation. In the picture part of the cover is depicted an envelope with dwarves.  The cover is  printed by multicoloured offset. On the postmark is a flying stork with a dwarf and the text: Praha, 4.3.2015
The stamp is valid from 4th March, 2015.
