"Fête du Timbre 2018" in France: The stamp takes the road! / Fête du Timbre 2018 en France : Le timbre prend la route !

Après 4 années (de 2014 à 2017) consacrées à la danse, un nouveau cycle de 4 ans pour la Fête du Timbre a été débuté cette année, ayant pour thème l'automobile, les voitures anciennes et le sport automobile pour être précis.
A noter que cette Fête du Timbre 2018, organisée les 10 et 11 mars 2018 dans 103 villes de France (dans 82 départements différents), coïncidait avec le 80ème anniversaire de la 1ère Fête du Timbre.
Cette manifestation, qui a lieu chaque année depuis 1938 à l'initiative de la FFAP ("Fédération Française des Associations Philatéliques"), était appelée "Journée du Timbre" jusqu'en 1999.
