Hommage à Rudolf Pernický en Rép. Tchèque / Tribute to Rudolf Pernický in Czech Rep.

Le 21 décembre 2013 a été dévoilé un monument rendant hommage à Rudolf Pernický (1915-2005), un des héros tchécoslovaques de la lutte contre les Nazis puis les communistes, ayant sacrifié une grande partie de sa vie à la liberté de son pays.

Ce même jour, le bureau de poste n° 6 de Prague a mis en circulation une flamme illustrée spéciale consacrée à cet évènement ("odhalení pomníku" signifiant "dévoilement d'un monument").

On December 21, 2013 has been unveiled a monument honoring Rudolf Pernický (1915-2005), one of the Czechoslovak heroes of the struggle against the Nazis and the Communists, who sacrificed much of his life to the freedom of his country.
That same day, the Post Office No. 6 in Prague has released a special pictural cancellation dedicated to this event ("odhalení pomníku" meaning "unveiling of a monument").
It is that cancellation that was applied to the letter below.Slavek has used a stamp (25 Kč), issued on September 15, 2010, being part of a definitive series devoted to flowers, an Iris here....
