Tribute to Slovenian architect Jože Plečnik on Czech FDC / Hommage à l'architecte slovène Jože Plečnik sur FDC tchèque

Le 7 juin 2017, la poste tchèque a mis en circulation plusieurs timbres dont un consacré à l'architecte slovène Jože Plečnik (1872-1957) à l'occasion du 60ème anniversaire de sa mort.
C'est ce timbre (32 CZK), conçu par Jan Kavan et gravé par Miloš Ondráček, qui figure sur le FDC officiel ci-dessous (tirage : 3500), avec TAD de Prague représentant un dessin d'aigle par Plečnik conçu pour une sculpture au sommet d'une colonne. Merci beaucoup Bret !

Jože Plečnik, architecte et urbaniste, a travaillé principalement à Ljubljana, sa ville natale, mais aussi à Vienne, Prague ou Belgrade.
On June 7, 2017, the Czech Post issued several stamps, one of which being dedicated to the Slovenian architect Jože Plečnik (1872-1957) on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of his death.
It is that stamp (32 CZK), designed by Jan Kavan and engraved by Miloš Ondráček, which appears on the official FDC below (print run : 3,500), with a cancellation from Prague representing an eagle drawing by Plečnik designed for a sculpture at the top of a column. Thank you very much Bret!
The engraving on this envelope shows a bronze amphora designed by Plečnik as well as an outline of a canopy supported by sculptures of bulls referring to the Bull Staircase leading to the southern gardens of Prague Castle
